THE NEW FACE OF THE BULGARIAN WINE "Making wine is definitely an art!" , says the owner Eddie Kourian, who is WSET London Diploma Student and Wine and Spirits Academy Bulgaria Co-founder and Educator. Peter Georgiev, a vital part of the Rossidi Team and a wine-maker by profession, started off by participating in another Bulgarian Winemaking Project, and later on Arndorfer and Steininger in Kamptal, Austria and Allan Scott in Marlborough, New Zeeland. |

Staro Oryahovo Winery is a small boutique cellar specializing in the production of wines from aromatic white varieties. Staro Oryahovo Winery is a small family-owned estate that embodies the spirit of Bulgaria's new wave of wines. Situated 30 km south of Varna, the winery benefits from a prime location near the Eleshnitsa dam. The vineyards are meticulously cared for, respecting the terroir and ensuring a clean harvest of well-ripened grapes. The winery focuses on vinifying local varieties, producing quality wines that are predominantly found in fine restaurants, specialty shops, and on the tables of discerning connoisseurs. |

Winery Orbelia is located at the foot of the Belasitsa Mountain, near Petrich. Orbelia is the ancient name of the mountain range and it means beautiful White Mountain. The winery opened in 2013 and it has the most modern technologically and laboratory equipment. Some of the wines aged in French, Bulgarian, American and Hungarian oak barrels. The winery produces wine using traditional methods, specific for the region. It is also a small museum with typical for the region tradition and culture. |

Tsarev Brod Tsarev Brod Winery, located in the Shumen village of Tsarev Brod between Bulgaria's historic capitals of Pliska and Veliki Preslav, was established by Ivan Ivanov and his family, who began planting vineyards in 2001. The winery, built in 2015 next to the vineyard, produces high-quality wines exclusively from its 400-acre estate. Known as the "home of white wine variety," the region's exceptional terroir supports the cultivation of grape varieties like Gergana, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc for white wines, and Evmolpia, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Franc for red and rosé wines. |
